Hazelann Lorkins Hazelann is a leading life-coach, professional trainer and motivational speaker specialising in work/life balance, stress management, and professional and personal relationships. She is passionate about effective communication in all its forms, with particular interest in non-verbal communication and group dynamics. Her aim is to share techniques and skills to enable people to achieve their outcomes, enjoy successful relationships, reduce stress levels, and increase their levels of influence. Hazelann has a background in management administration and Information Communication Technology having worked for the NHS and the Education Sector in a variety of roles. Starting out as a trainer, she later became a Regional Director with Capita Education Services heading up a team supporting ICT in education and providing training programmes, network management and consultancy. In the late ‘90s Hazelann trained with International Teaching Seminars in London, and later was accredited as a master practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and also as an NLP coach. More recently she trained with Michael Grinder, world renowned expert in non-verbal intelligence, to achieve accreditation in non-verbal communication techniques and group dynamics. In February 2006 she co-founded GLD Training Associates Limited which, in addition to working with business leaders, provides training programmes in classroom behaviour management strategies for teachers (ENVoY).
Hazelann is married with two adult children. In her spare time she likes to walk on the moors, camp in a small tent, build sand sculptures on the beach, or indulge her passion for languages (German and French in particular). |
