Founded in February 2006, our vision is of a productive world where people and nations coexist peacefully through communicating clearly and respectfully using influence rather than power to achieve mutual success.

Our training and workshops equip leaders in every field with verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and strategies to increase their effectiveness.

We employ a professional behavioural model that is used extensively in Europe, Australia and the USA and which is now available in the UK.   It is based on the work of Michael Grinder, world-leader in non-verbal communication, who studied successful leaders and identified the key attributes and patterns that distinguish successful managers.  The main difference he identified was that they operate from influence instead of power.

As well as training business leaders and managers, GLD is rolling out the ENVoY training programme to teachers and other classroom practitioners across the UK.   Although these skills and techniques are new to the UK Education Sector they complement existing national and local strategies for managing behaviour in the classroom.

All GLD Associates have been trained and accredited directly by Michael Grinder in non-verbal communication techniques and group mastery.   Hazelann Lorkins and Graham Willson are Michael Grinder’s UK representatives for ENVoY.
